It came with a kalloy seat post and a shit saddle, but I put these ones on to check it was 27.2
The original spec was:
105 cranks
1a stem, criterium bars
pista headset
pista bb
primato hubs on ma3 / omega 19 rims
random tyres
The eventual plan is to build it up with the following spec:
Campagnolo; pista cranks / bb
low flange hubs,
omega 19 rims (black)
pista headset,
record seatpost
Cinelli; pista bars and stem (with yellow benotto!)
unicanitor saddle
Veloflex record tyres.
I'm thinking red / silver / black / yellow.
I sold the wheels (for £65), which brought my total spend down to just £85. It already has a pista headset and bottom bracket, so that's a good start, and I picked up these from philosovril, and some yellow benotto from ebay. (giving me a new total of about £217). I already had the tyres too, and I now I'm saving up for this:
The main thing I'd like to figure out is what era cranks and hubs to go for.
It will be a dedicated track bike and, as much as I'd like a period build, the vintage stuff is rare as hell, used, and similar in price to the brand new stuff... so perhaps new cranks and hubs? I'm not sure which era groupset would be correct for 1985 anyway? Please enlighten me.
Here's a (shit) photo of how it looks at the moment, with new bars and stem, and wheels from my everyday bike. Better photo soon:

Picked this up a few weeks ago at the HH jumble:
