Firstly measure the hole the bolt goes into. Campagnolo made two bolts as far as I am aware #830 seat bolt (10mm) and #1073 seat bolt (8mm). When you go to fit the bolt trial fit it first to see whether the two halves will bottom out before clamping. If it appears this is going to happen, shorten the 'nut' part by removing some material where the two pieces meet. Not doing this is one of the main causes for these bolts failing ..
