there's been a huge shift in how the 'average' non-cycling press journalist has been reporting this since Floyd threw his toys out the pram:

I don't think that article would have been written even a year ago by anyone but the more 'serious' press like the WSJ that broke the Novitsky case... Heartening that it's happening. I still have to restrain myself from looking at the car crash that is the befuddled and moronic replies on the comments section for an article about him though... scary how resolute some people still are that he's a Texan jesus or something.
