Up for sale is this vintage (well, they don't make them anymore!) Brooks "Conquest All Terrain" leather saddle. It has nice, fat hammered copper rivets, chamfered edges, and stiff steel springs. Super comfortable, originally intended for the MTB market, but can be used with success on crappy asphalt, miles-apart cobblestones (pavé is way to nice a word for the shit outside my door here in Leipzig -- the german word 'Kopfsteine' with it's allusion to graves is more appropriate considering its unique ability to shake my bike to pieces) and general city romps.
It has admittedly sagged a bit, but the leather is supple, and would (I think) be an excellent candidate for a blocking-out. I haven't done so myself simply because it suits me fine the way it is. The shape is probably due to the previous owner leaving it in the rain and riding it wet, and the saddle does bear its fair share of marks from a life outside. That said, there are no serious rifts or tears, and the cracking i have attempted to bring out as best as possible in the photos really only affect the outermost layer.
The colour is a deep chocolate brown, but could probably be lighted with some judicious cleaning with an appropriate leather cleaner. I have simply wiped it down and reapplied Proofhide as necessary.
Selling it to fund a new seatpost! £40 ONO£35pluss shipping from Germany.
Yes, please do. I'll check postage monday, can't imagine it will be too much, maybe £5.

Formatting Help
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
Tips:
Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----
To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word
To **bold** text put two asterisks each side of the word
Embed images by entering: ![](https://www.google.co.uk/images/srpr/logo4w.png) That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.
* Create lists by starting lines with asterisks
1. Create numbered lists by starting lines with a number and a dot

For syntax highlighting, surround the code block with three backticks:
```
Your code goes here
Just like Github, a blank line must precede a code block.
If you upload more than 5 files we will display all attachments as thumbnails.
