The real problem is that you are trying to sell your bike on a forum in the UK where
a.) The inhereant value of used goods is much lower than in the rest of Europe and
b.) Despite popular opinion most things (beer, bike parts, hifi, cars even) are cheaper than on the continent.
c.) Retail is far more competitive (full price and mark down) than anywhere outside the US.
This did not used to be the case but the Euro dollar kind of fucked you. ...I remember the price of a hooker doubled over night when you went from the Guilder.
