Sadly, in the case of my brompton main frame replacement, only Evans agreed to give me LCC discount on a special order. I did explain to my LBS that I would prefer to give them my buisness but they were not interested. Too much paperwork for too little margin I suppose... Like Jacqui walking into Evans is not what I love most, but on this occasion it was quite convenient...
I went to pick it up at lunch time.
Jacqui, I think Pheonix cycles are quite good as an independant brompton retailer, probably not the first time this is being said on here... Don't know if they do LCC discount though...
