  • Just thought I'd put this out there for anyone not so serious about racing. The 'race' has very few rules, the first one being that your bike must be inappropriate for use offroad. The second rule is that you don't take it too seriously.

The course is about 4miles offroad, mainly downhill, fairly rocky in places. Easily rideable on a CX bike.

It's pretty much a weekend even with people arriving at the campsite in Porlock on the friday, BBQ and beach activities throughout the evening. Race on saturday around 2pm ish, time isn't set in stone we just let everyone finish their lunch. Ride as far as you can up the hill then walk the rest of the way. First person with their hand on the bar at the The Ship Inn wins.

To give you an idea of it here's the FB page - http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100001188087275

And a few videos from previous events.

If you do come you'll find that everyone is very friendly and willing to help out. We had about 40 or 50 people down last year which made it absolutely epic.

Oh and Charlie Bikemonger is in no way the organiser of this event
