I read something along the lines of...
Whatever changes you make to cleats/crank length/saddle height/saddle angle etc don't ride too hard for a week or so because you will be using different parts of the muscles involved and they will need a week or so of gentle spinning to get acustomed and whatnot etc.
It worked for me.
I changed my cleats and saddle angle at the same time and went straight out to give it the beans and immediately suffered with loss of feeling below the knee on my left side and dead spots on the soles of my feet.
Eased off for a week or two and just span it out and now the adjustments feel really natural.
