I hoped that the wind and rain would put people off cycling in today but I still got pushed by 2 cyclists squeezing past me at lights this morning. What they didn’t realise is that the reason I hadn’t moved forwards was because there was enormous puddle in front of me. They had a lovely time standing getting wet feet for a while and then when the lights changed one of them fell off her bike. Megafail.
I did try to call them out, pointing out firstly the puddle and that there really wasn’t any space for them wedged between various buses and lorries, but then I thought fine, you want to go win the Darwin Award, you go right ahead.
