I decided my avatar would be a picture by one of my favourite photographers. After much indecision I settled on a tulip by John Blakemore.
I've now had this Avatar for a couple of weeks and for some reason felt I might explain it.
However... After much in-depth research ( 2 minutes on Google! ) I discovered that it was in fact, not his work. Whilst I hope this doesn't affect my enjoyment of the picture, if I wanted to use a homage, I'd take the bloody photo myself.
After a great deal of Facepalming, I've now chosen this alternative.
I've no doubt that you'll all find this fascinating & want to console me with comments like " cool story bro ", or " tldr " and for that you have my eternal gratitude.
I'll be off now to find that useless piece of paper that says " Photography Degree " on it and feeding the bastard thing into the shredder!
