This thread has tempted me to sell my Gazelle road frame and build up my unknown 80s Raleigh touring frame instead... mmmnnn.

as for the downtube bosses, this is what they look like now

it slightly pains me to mix campag and shimano but there we go, i quite like the little d rings actually.
