  • Nope. Leeds.

  • forrun

  • Booked my next tattoo, Robot by Dom @ TFB, in October.

  • Nice. Flatmate just had some work by Xam

  • When I tried to book with Dom in April I was told her waiting list was just over a year?

Anyway, went with Andrea and couldn't be happier with what he did.

  • Yeah, waitlist is bear long.
Had a few by her before and I thinly she felt like being nice to me, 4 months is the shortest wait iv had with her.
    Most happy.

  • Ah what the fudge. Fair play. Like I said, Furci was boss. Going to give him a visit some point again before the end of the year. What are you having done if you don't mind me asking?

  • Toy robot on the shin.
Might get a squid headed alien on the otherside, make a Beastie Boys intergalactic homage.

  • I see nun...

  • Anyone got any experience of white ink tattoos?

    #notaracist

  • I've got specks of white in some of mine, if that helps??

  • Little excited when you got them done?

  • White will turn yellow/brown/disappear after a few months, from what I've seen. I've only had white for highlights, nothing major.

  • the white in my skin is still pretty white after 7 years. It's only a little bit, not massive patches of shading or anything.

    depends on the person

  • Just couldn't resist. Booked myself in for another piece by Andrea Furci, but not til September when I have some cash.

  • Can anyone recommend a good London based famale tattooist whose waiting list is less than 1 month?

  • Unlikely to find anyone good without a waiting list. I have had work from Dom at TFB and Val at Frith St - not sure about Val, but Dom's list is a year unless you know her. If it's a small piece, you might get a cancellation.

there's 2 girls at Divine Canvas, from what I've seen they look pretty impressive, no ideas on waiting lists though

  • ^ One of them is Alice, used to know her through BME/IAM stuff back in the day, haven't seen her for ages but shes great, check her stuff out here http://aliceofthedeadtattoo.tumblr.com/

  • Ah yeah she taught herself at home and various friends, and already knew Xed le head so I imagine she got a job through him.

  • There's a few girls up the road from Divine Canvas @ Jolie Rouge, Claudia Sabe is there...she used to work @ Frith St

  • From what Ive seen come out of there, Jolie Rouge is a totally underrated studio, worth checking out I reckon

  • Yeah, there's some good artists there. Little Mexican fella called Xavi has a good book and he's done some work on my mate

  • Excellent info. Thanks guys.
Might book it in for when I'm back from travelling to give me more time. Although dont fancy a 24hr flight with fresh ink much...
