About the stem: yes, it is a *love it or hate it *thing. Currently it is the only one with the length that I need.
About the rear derrailleur hanger: no, it is a one piece together with a dropout. Someone before me started filing it, and I got an idea how to repair it - I will cut replaceable derailleur hanger so it could apply with the remain of the dropout, and then screw it on. I am pretty sure it will work out and look unnoticeable (I will later put photos after I make it).
Yesterday I made a test drive (still w/o bar tape). Impressions:
Didn't experience ghost shifts, about which I read on the internet. Probably because of stiffer tubes than alloy ones.
Too small for me. Don't feel comfortable (lack of frame length), when pedalling out of saddle/climbin. So goes for sale or trade.
After panzer-grau clouds ruled the daylight sky, the sunset in the horizon was unexpectedly beautiful.
Thank you all for replies.
