Shimano RS80 C24 probably.
Then get something truly aero and light when you have the cash.

For factory wheels from the gospel according to 'Tester RS30s or Mavic Aksiums:

...then as Howard says get a bling set when you've got the cash.
Personally for arou d £400 I'd be tempted by a hand build set - the new 23mm wide 30mm deep BHS rims on some of their lightweight hubs.
Also this should probably be in the road wheels thread as theres loads of info there: http://www.lfgss.com/thread20845.html

Planet-x tubulars
You can get them with no logo. I like the 82/50 set. Not sure I'd feel comfortable with more than 50 on the front. But then its windy up here.

Cheeky fecker. I was benching 110Kg last night. Thats like 16 weenies dales.
Seriously though. Its not so much the strength of the wind. But the unpredictability. The landscape up here means you're constantly going from calm mountain valley, to raging coastal winds. The effective temperature can vary by 20 deg over the course of a short ride too.
Makes for a interesting rides :)

Actually came here to apolygise for the PX wheel post. I'm outside of the EU and saw the prices sans VAT. They're actually £100 over budget.

Chinese crabon wheels?
Good shout. See the oriental express thread.
I'd have a browse on farsports. There are some 44 (or 48...can't remember) light weight carbon clinchers. Built up I think they'll come pretty close to your £400 mark.

I'm guessing 48mm. Thats what mine are. They seem to be holding up really well. The braking is OK and getting better all the time.

Aren't Planet X doing some sort of promotion this weekend on the carbon tub wheels?

I have been looking around for a more aero (and lighter) wheelset than the standard which came with a Quintana Roo Kilo Tri bike.
I do not have the world of cash to spend, so have been looking around for wheels between 1500-1900g, 30mm ish rims and shimano compat hubs.
So far, I have looked at the
American Classic Victory 30mm - Black - £349
and the
Kinetic-One K1 Aerolite 33mm - £198
Anyone help me make a choice here :(. Basically, anything under 400 quid, reliable and 700c with shimano 8/9/10 speed hub with a more aero design.
So many wheels and no idea where to put my money.
