1000 US Dollars for a SLX de rosa in really nice nick isnt a bad deal but it isnt a steal. You say super record - but in the photos (which are not great and dwarf like tiny) it looks like Dura-ace. If it was the right size and in really nice shape - it could be worth it for you

the "pinch" and the "bulge" in the photos would probably put alot of people off of it - which is why the price seems reasonable. I would steer clear of it as I would not know if either the "bulge" or the "pinch" would compromise it structurally - if it doesnt - you have a relatively ok price for a de rosa - but you might have a hard time unloading it should you chose to.
