I have owned this from new. I bought it custom built when I was 16 and built by Terry Dolan. I paid £99 for the frame and built it up with a mixture of Campag Record and Dura Ace bits. (For sale on a separate post)
Frame details: 22" (56cm) seat tube and a 21" (53.5cm) tope tube. Frame angles are a bit more difficult to measure but seem to recall 73/73. The paint is not in particularly good condition. more importantly though the original head badge and paint work on the head tube is unmarked. It was always my intention to get the frame re-spayed in pearl white, keeping the ruby paintwork and head badge. The frame number is Q 4596. See link
Genuine Quinn frames built in Liverpool were marked with an O and a 1 to make the letter Q.
I'm not very good at letting go of my past, but can put the funds raised towards a nice pair of Fast Forward track wheels.
I am asking what I paid for it in 1978 - £99.00
I can post this and estimate this to be around £20-£25 within the UK. Outside the UK contact me first. Though I'd prefer you to view the frame before buying, I am 5 mins from J3 of M25 or I can meet you by arrangement at Herne Hill Velodrome most Wednesday evenings and Sat / Sun mornings, providing its not raining
The bike comes with the Campag headset (not Record) and excludes the bottom bracket as this is part of the chainset for sale on my other advert, titled Vintage Campag bits
