    Hope you'll enjoy the read : )

Pass it on to your misses as well, I bet they'll recognize the situation.

Here's a photo of the the sacred centrepiece : )

its a koga miyata full pro 1981 ...work in progress...
    Cheers,
    Pero

  • Your wife writes really well.

  • Its nice.

  • Thanks guys, appreciate it!!

  • that's the most anally put up plasterboard i've ever seen, the screws line up perfectly. it'll be a shame to plaster it.

  • When I get up there I find the racing bike suspended from the middle of the ceiling, like a sacred centrepiece. The metal parts are gleaming silver and there are several scary looking cleaning products and blackened toothbrushes on the floor.

Really evocative piece of writing. Part religous shrine, part horror movie scene. Nice.

  • Gorgeous bike, talented wife, new job, bouncing baby, excellent plasterboard installation skills, increasing value of home, cycling mad neighbour...

    ^^^^^^ = boast post.

    #jealous

  • Great blog - some of the content is very familiar, which isn't something I could confidently label 'good' or 'bad'.

  • Hahaa, your reactions made me laugh!! Part religous shrine, part horror movie scene. Pretty much sums up my life : )
    Thanks!

  • You had a look over here Twofakie? http://www.lfgss.com/thread84153.html

  • Yeah i saw that thread : ) , I love Koga's, its the first thing I look for on sites like this...will post mine when its ready..

  • She moans she doesn't have time until she's 65 for a hobby? But she has time to write blogs, irony aside life is for living so live it

  • Thanks for reminding me to water my veggies, funny blog aye.

  • Is it better than louder than silence?

  • Not sure in which decade bringing up children became such an all-consuming role. We brought up 3 kids and still both of us had time for hobbies and sport, even though we had little money and both lived far from our families' support.
Keep up the bike stuff or you'll get sucked into the "kids are everything" trap.

  • Haha, boys will be boys..
Ycawsfach, spending time with yer kids might sometimes be hard work, but nothing beats it, it certainly doesn't feel like a trap to me. Dont take the blog too serious : )
