We were moving high and coming into the home straight, where there was a bit of kickback today, and so there must have been a bit of overlap...so overlap while moving up the track I would say as the cause.
A shame because there was a really nice pace going on the slower group that was sticking together and actually a decent size. There was no one "out" - pretty much everyone was in one of the two groups and going to make it to the end of the session.
I hope everyone involved gets back on their horse next week (apart from the genuinely injured)
