I agree with you that the Wound Ups would look better and they would my fork of choice on a '90s 'Dale frame, but if, in the extremely unlikely avent someone just handed me one and walked off, my first thought wouldn't be 'Bugger its got shit forks on', more likely it would be 'Shit, who's he nicked this off and where's the coppers?'.
