Absolutely gutted that i have to sell this. It's my favourite of all my bikes but not used enough and I need the money.
Here's an edited version of the original description. It hasn't changed.
So, a very beautiful Vintage build:
Built up mostly with Gipiemme components. Since its build 2 years ago it's been ridden a few times at Herne Hill, there and back from the East, as well as once on the Tweed Run. So minimal mileage and never seen rain.
It's been mostly hanging on a wall...
Daccordi pure track frame, tubing unbadged but almost certainly Columbus SLX, the frame is very light. Very good to excellent condition, no dings / dents and just a couple of paint chips and one or two scratches, most of which show in the photos.
The forks are in good condition but there is one area at the top of the right fork where the chrome has flaked off. Even so, in very good condition for its age (I think it's probably late 70s / early 80s). Lovely lug detailing. No drillings.
Spec as follows - due to minimal mileage, (nearly) NOS parts.
Frame: seat tube c-t 54cm; top tube c-c 52cm. Very light, weighed by Retro_di_corsa at 1.6kg. Standover height is 79/80cm.
H/s - Campagnolo, came with frame.
BB - Gipiemme Pista
Cranks - Gipiemme Pista, 170mm, 144bcd 48T Gipiemme chainring
Cog - Condor 19T CNC machined
Lockring - Gipiemme
Pedals - Gipiemme Sprints, good but worn; Christophe toeclips
Wheels - NOS Gipiemme small-flange pista to NOS Mavic MA2 rims. Rubino Pro 23mm tyres.
Seat pin - Gipiemme Cronosprint Aero 27.2 - ok condition, bit scratched on chrome surface. looks great though.
Saddle - NOS Iscaselle Tornado
Stem - 3ttt 90mm
Handlebars - 3ttt pista, 40cm with NOS Benotto tape
Bike is set up in pictures for someone 172cms / 5'7''ish tall.
I'm looking for a bit less that what it cost me when I bought it from Pajamas here on the forum: £525, bank transfer/paypal/cash to collect from Brixton.
I won't be splitting until further notice, so if you want to make a sensible offer then feel free, but bear in mind what you're getting for the asking price.
