So do I, but I fail to see the relevance. The two aren't even remotely comparable.
He accelerated towards 40mph, through a junction and around two sets of bollards on the wrong side of the road, and you're seriously suggesting it's not that big a deal because there wasn't anything coming in the other direction?
They are comparable, I just compared them.
Obviously the car is worse. But the implied fear was that he was going to run you over, and instead he went to the other side of the road... Which would you prefer?!
(obviously the third option of waiting behind is beter, but in this comparison I choose to filter on the wrong side of the road over waiting behind cars so I can see his thought process, even if I don't like what he did)
