• I bought this frame fairly recently on t'bay, with the intention of restoring it. Funds haven't really allowed such an extravagance, so I thought i'd put it together as a sort of beater road bike with the random selection of Shimano parts I had lying around. Consequently, I've not ridden it, and I need holiday money, so it's up for grabs!

The frame itself is fairly tatty looking, but seems totally sound, with no dings or dents. There are some typically nice features, as you'd expect from a Ron Cooper frame, including circular cutouts in the lugs and some lovely shaped seat stays. The eBay seller I bought it from had done a bit of research into the frame; the serial number is 907, and Ron himself confirmed that he would have built it during the late 70s with 531 tubing.
    Sizes are: Seat tube 61 c-c (so about 62.5 c-t), top tube 57.5 c-c.

And here's a list of the parts:
Ultegra 10 speed STIs (fairly battered, but still work just fine)
    Tiagra rear mech
    Campag veloce front mech
105 compact double 50/34 (with new chainrings - less thn 200 miles)
    Ultegra BB
R600 (ultegra level long drop) calipers
Ultegra front hub and tiagra rear hub built into 'Cosmic Blue' Open Pros
    105 cassette and chain
    Gatorskin tyres
    3ttt stem and Deda drops
SR Laprade seatpin w/ no name saddle
Horrible platform pedals (I originally put these on as a temporary measure, I have a selection of pedals that i can fit instead; straps and cages/SPD/Look etc)

I know it's not the prettiest of builds, and the groupset is a bit mismatched, but it all works really well and should make a pretty nice beater for someone.

    £350 ono

First come, first served on this. No dibsing. It's at Fitzrovia Bicycles for anyone who wants to come and take a look/ride. I'd really rather not post it, but if no one in London is interested I'll look into it.

    Cheers,
    Alex
