Infuriatingly had my wheel slip out of the dropouts and mangle itself against my chainstay, FUBAR'ing the rim. There's a lesson in there about quick release skewers...
Anyway, this stint without my road bike has made me realise that I've slightly fallen out of love with my fixed gear and want to get back on the road bike asap. Ideally looking for something similar to the surviving front wheel (Mavic MA40s to Shimano 600s), but will take any beater junk in the interim.
