The Volvo is ~1,500kg, I'm goign to make a wild guess that the MX5 is lighter than that.

Get a VTEC Elise then, but struggle to deal with 2/3 times the power/weight ratio.

It's weird but less power so often equals more fun.

The irony of spending so much cash on the engine of something with the dynamics of a 20yr old, panel van is not lost on me.

Before the isf my dad had a c63 and just gingerly touching the throttle would cause wheelspin, even with tcs on
