32 team double elim. That's pretty epic.

Looks like they had to abandon Podium half way through the swiss, which is pretty bad. I think it would be a lot more popular if Vince actual gave full control to the organisers, which I imagine would prevent these kind of problems.

Awesome tourney even if some weird British kick us to looser bracket. Great finals games, polirico killed it. Italian know how to handle a fuckin tourney...

They were pushing pretty hard for Padova 2013 at that location....

Ale, do you mean for the Euros?? I reckon just 2 court is not enought, even if the 2 courts are just perfect...
-
• #69
just limit the tourney to 36 teams.

Yup, for the Euros.
...I said the same thing. 2 courts is kind of limiting I think, but then again, london 2009 had 2 courts only just as well.

a lot less people playing polo back in those days. Two courts and open to everyone, ah those were the days…

Polorama was awesome!
More tourneys like this in Italy; nice weather, nice food, nice women, everything is nice..except for the sketchy earthquake on tuesday..

Edit: this post is from Uolmo aka clément, who stole is brother computer...
Just saw this thread today.Padova courts are clearly a spot for a main tournament, even the EHBPC (with 32 teams or 48 on 3 days).
Italians rocks in tourney organisation, and the courts are in my top 3 in europe with Rouen and Bern. Two is maybe not enough, but two court, exactly the same with perfect floor and perfect dimensions is worth it.
good luck guys
