If its just chasing. Maybe you could borrow a tool, or have a LBS have a go. Isnt there a tool share thread?
I have a Cyclus BB chasing tool on the way. Not that that helps you. It would be a £35 round trip if I was to post it, for you to borrow :(
(My Longbike frame ate the non-driveside cup of my crankset, then started on the replacement.)
Bet you still beat both my long and fat bikes. They're proper jinxed.
