    ^That is a repost. Probably from this thread. possibly from another. And everyone has read every post in this thread. So you have done a very bad thing. No one wants to waste seconds looking at something they have seen before.

    in 1731, King Frederick I of Sweden received a lion skin as a gift from the Bey of Algiers. The taxidermist tasked with mounting it had never seen a lion in real life, and only had a vague idea of what one was supposed to look like.

    i doubt its true as i think there's lions on the Swedish coat of arms
