I've got a pair of Swrve WWR 3/4s and they're pretty lightweight and breathable in my opinion (and I overheat very easily). Cooler than the standard cotton 3/4s I'd say.
Unfortunately they're not much more than drizzle-proof, though they do dry quickly.
(Disclaimer: mine are a few years old, not sure if they've changed them at all)
