Well, ladies drinks for a start - we're organising one at the moment, will probably be on the 8th June - check the ladies drinks thread for more details. Also check out the regular ladies rides thread - there's always something happening there.

Thanks clefty, I will take a look. As for the rides, the ones I have seen are of a fair distance... I hope I can find some shorter or slower ones so I can ease myself back into cycling!

Hello ladies :) Im a newbie to LFGSS but have known about it for such a long time. I am currently trying looking to buy a fixed gear and went to BLB but not sure if i should look else where. Am still on the hunt but need a bike asap as im nothing without my 2 wheels!! Cheers las's

Welcome! What's your budget? What sort of riding are you going to be doing? I'd definitely look other places than BLB (they can be a bit expensive). Have a look in the Ladies bikes threads - lots of chat in there about it.

Brixton Cycles, Fitzrovia Cycle, Condor Cycles, Tokyo Fixed Gear to name a few.

Hello! I've been lurking around for a while, but finally got round to registering. I've been riding an old mixte that's been set up as a fixed for a year, but now thinking of upgrading to something that will hopefully make me faster (or maybe just try and get a bit fitter...)

Live in Oxford now but used to live in London and am down there quite a bit, so hope to make it along some time to drinks or a ride.

Hi everyone. I've been lurking too but all this olympic fever finally compelled me to register today! I've been commuting around London for 3-4 years, currently based SE22. The lovely 6pt fixed me up with a beautiful single speed a couple of summers ago and I haven't looked back since. Would love to join rides/drinks.
