Wanted: Need to replace my stolen wheels & cranks

Found my bike like this last night in front of the pub. Wheels were locked too.

Looking for some cheap wheels, some andel or blb vintage style cranks, mks gr9 pedals, plastic toe clips, and leather straps. All preferably black in colour.

Wheels were locked with an extension cable which was cut in half. locked at london fields directly accross the road from the cat and mutton. Plenty of people around all night too. Friends wheels got stolen right in front of the haggerston a couple of months ago in front of everyone drinking out front. People too scared to say anything or just don't give a shit?

Ah they're 2 of the worst spots in London, I've had saddles pinched from both of those spots.

It's a late lesson to learn, but that cables are a complete waste of time, 2 evo minis and you can secure frame and wheels.

I know the London Fields spot, has buses pull up opposite it, which might give those guys all the time they need with their bolt cutters... but I don't think they even have to be that subtle about it, too few people do or say anything.

Gutted for you, it's shite.

I swear my Brooks saddle was on sale at the bike bus place off Broadway market. It was swiped when my bike was locked up on the towpath.

Reading threads like this makes me wonder why a few people don't get together, plant a bike in one of these spots, watch it, and when the tea leafs appear beat the crap out of them, preferably with their own tools.

much though the knee jerk vigilante approach appeals, some people are driven to crime by many external factors, and to give them a kicking is further compounding and not helping to alleviate the problems

i have known addicts who have taken vicious beatings for some of their petty crimes, but that was never enough to stop their disease making them repeat offending

To me, what you're saying, is likeable to saying it's ok for an addict to mug an old woman, because they need to.
