Because it's a good rule. The good traders apologise and either delete their ad. or delete the ad.s elsewhere. The ad.s of those who ignore it tend to stay quiet.
OP: as stated, if you advertise here you the rules state you shouldn't advertise elsewhere. If you keep your ad. here you may also want to state if your prices include postage and where you are.
