Hey! My name's Tim and I live in Levenshulme at the moment. I'm tall and ride a converted Coventry Eagle, which you occasionally might see me haring along on (usually late for work). This polo malarky sounds like a good laugh!

Snottyotter - What time do you guys play on Sundays? And which other days is stuff going down? I'm super up for it but I've some how managed to contract mumps (it's like we're living a hundred years ago!) so I'm not really up to it tonight, annoyingly!

Hello, my name is Taba and I will be mostly riding a racing green Lemond Fillmore frame with black deepish wheels, risers, front brake and pink toe straps.
Just started riding fixed about a month ago. Commute between Chorlton and Old Trafford but moving soon, and can be seen sometimes on deansgate on my way to the climbing wall rljing like a knob.
Not too sure about Polo, I do a lot of other sports and work till late most days but would give it a go. Would be very interested in doing some alleycat races though, if that sort of thing happens in our town?

Alleycats happen, craignasty usually posts in here about them.
Polo is awesome though, we're playing tonight if you're free, even if you don't have a go, come have a beer and say hi.
Check www.mhbp.co.uk for details.
And hello.

Never finish work before 7pm so 6.30 starts is not practical for me really. Also busy househunting at the moment so I'll have to leave it for the time being. Hopefully I'll be a bit less busy in the near future (yeah right!).

We get people turn up late most days anyway, it's not like you'll get turned away.

Hello, I just moved into the city so thought I would get a fixed gear again, to join my geared bikes. There are so many more fixed gears since I last had one, and in the majority, they seem awesome builds, not too many bright colours - well done Manchester. Mine is definitely less orange...

Hi, I'm Ali, live in Fallowfield. I'm interested in fixed-gear riding but have never tried it, curious more than anything!
Currently riding an awful old purple Raleigh similar to this, but with a white seat and some bare homebade bullhorns.

Hello!
Polo!

^ it was interesting to see on the Wiggo documentary that he used to play Bike Polo at Herne Hill. As he lives fairly local you should invite him along.
-
• #248
Could be fun, he's not busy at the moment is he?
-
• #249
Give it a couple of weeks. He needs a new goal (excuse pun), world champs 2016?
Alongside Froome & Cav the team could be called "Marginal Gains".

Do it!
Everyone is welcome, should be playing Thursday, maybe tomorrow too, you'll be able to borrow a bike and mallet to have a go.
