32 or 36 spoke wheels will happily cope with a broken spoke (or two, or three), but the lower the spoke count the more stress each one has to deal with and the less likely the whole wheel is to cope with it.
Conceivably (as it is the front) you could lace it in a radial pattern and space the gaps opposite each other, but you would be starting out with what is essentially a broken wheel and would have a nightmare trying to keep it true.
Short answer: flog them and buy a new wheelset.

it can be done but i wouldnt
Ok, just getting round to putting my project bike together, and first thing to sort is going to be the wheelset, I have on the bike a set of Mavic Heliums with tubular tyres.
I am wanting to replace the rims, as Ive decided after having difficulty mounting tubs, and getting a few punctures without even getting on the bike that theyre not for me, so looking to go back to using Clinchers.
My idea is I could either buy a new clincher wheelset and sell the Mavics or replace the rims on the Mavics by taking them to my LBS.
Just counted the rims on them and the front is 26 hole and the rear 28 hole, had a quick google for 26 and cant find anyone selling them, what do I do in this situation, what would the best solution be?
Thanks for any advice
