Ok, well, just be careful, I found riding a lo pro the equivalent to fitting a racey exhaust to a Datsun... Makes you wanna live FAST!
Just went for a spin down to my work and back, felt bloody nippy. Having now ridden it i know now i need to lower the saddle by 2 cm and get stem thats a hair longer. The 3TTT chrome pro's are quite cheap on PX so i might get a 100mm one.
I really like that style of stem if anyone has one they don't want before i buy it?
finally
now i am well jelly and want to build something like that for myself!..
dooooooo it
Love it! good effort, I like the wheels, they really suit it. maybe mirror polish deeeeep but I don't think carbon would suit the frame...?
regarding the pedals, have you tried doublestraps and quad gate if you don't want clipless? I wear size 13 and have never had any issues.
I haz some all black Eighthinch track pedals (wide for big feet) with BLB double straps and quad cages if you want to try them out...
The main problem i find with cages is that when i need to skid i have a habit of pointing my toes down so my feet slide back, and out, of the cages.
As Malaysian says nothing feels as quite as secure as big fat straps and pedals.
Whatever suggestions to improve the build will not lessen my regret that I don't own that frame. Chain appears blue, which I'm sure it isn't. Cranks look excellent, I'd be dropping the stem a touch. Nicely done. Want.
Cheers Paul, the chain is just the wippermann basic one. That stem can;t actually go any lower becuase its super long, i think its of a mixte so its meant to be quite high. As i said above i'll probably replace it.
Oh and my red zipp on the back to go with your zipp front, then it will be mega slave and you can be like colin arlen and macaframa yo....
thanks everyone for the complements.

double zipps is a good idea
