The serial number is 3286579 and it is a champion mondial AA special in a kind of pearlescent bluey silver......I think it's a 1985??

Plan is to strip and clean it, then ride the bugger!

Why would you strip it?, the paint looks perfectly fine

I think he means take all the parts of it and then give it a good clean, which sounds like a good plan to me.

Ha....! Yep, just a good clean/grease/polish..... Then it's good to go. The only negative is miss matched wheels.... The front is not all that, but the rear is a nice campag hub.... I have a set waiting in the wings though ;0)

A bit earlier, that colour wasn't available.
A bit later, the decals were different / ugly.

Colour looks like "saffier blauw" (Sapphire blue) to me.
It's Gazelle Blue No. 15 with a layer of Ivory 81 over it.
Not the best quality paintjob, since the ivory tends to come off.
Is the blue paint visible, where the ivory paint is damaged / chipped?

I need some stickers for my no name alu track frame. It's not a Gazelle but does have a Gazelle fork and I'd like to get some vinyl stickers cut to match the fork. Does anyone have a vector file or a nice hi res image of the logo so I can trace it in Illustrator? This is the logo I'm after:

I have a Gazelle Special AA in wonderfully hideous 80's paint fade. It rides like a dream. Has anyone seen the gazelle in the Cyclopedia book? It has Campagnolo Colrout cranks. I've never seen these before but they look sweet! Would love to get a set but presume they're pretty rare
