Whatever Greg comes up with, I don't think we'll have enough time to absorb & understand the changes. Ideally, we would have had these rules much earlier in the season, so that we could have trialled them at throw-in tourneys and then NS tournaments etc.
If we use these rules, we will have even more uneven reffing than usual, which isn't likely to improve the standard of play.
I don't get the "we should replicate the Euros as much as possible" argument either. If we wanted to replicate the Euros, we would be playing either swiss or seeded groups, followed by double elim.
