I was surprised when following dammits thread to find that carbon stems are heavier than their alu counterpart.
And Neil, I am keeping the 'dale as it is:-) I love that bike as a geared beast! It needs more tweaking but that's because I don't think I'm in the optimal riding position, but that's no reason to go and bastardise it by turning it into a FGSS.
