  • It occurred to me earlier that Iain owns exactly the same frame that I do- albeit 4cm smaller and therefore lighter.

    So using mine as a reference, with a brake on the front only, and no mechs, cassette, battery, wiring harness, power meter, shifters and second ring on the front you'd have a pretty light fixed (ENO hub required of course).

    I'm at 6.57kg, you can work out the projected weight by referencing the WW listings and deducting each component.

    If of course there is any appeal to using a frame which you already own, and know fits you.
