Pedal MCR also run 1 to 1 and group courses and a Learn and Repair service, If your bike is broken and you don't know how to fix it and can't wait for the next maintenance class we offer 1 to 1 Learn and Repair. Pedal MCR Tool Club
We open our workshop to the community every Tuesday 5pm-7.30pm for people to hire tools and workstands to D.I.Y their bikes. Prices vary depending on how long you spend. We also have 2nd hand parts available to buy.Volunteering

Taught over 2 Wednesdays, this basics course for wimmin covers just about everything the commuter needs to know, and a bit more!

Wednesday 28th March 6pm-8pm
Bike Anatomy
Height adjustment of the seat pin and handlebar stem.
MCheck
Identifying excessive component wear
Lube routine
Tools to take
Brake alignment to stop rubbing
Correct use of chain tool and chain measuring tools
Wednesday 4th April 6pm-8.30pm
Removal and replacement of the rear wheel.
Correct use of quick release levers.
Puncture repair.
Inflation of the tyres to the correct pressure.
Rear dérailleur indexing.
Emergency get-you-home tips and tricks.
The course fee includes any tools and components you would need. We are are volunteer run project and seek to find the balance between making the project sustainable as well as affordable. We provide training in bicycle maintenance and cycle training to give women the skills and confidence they need to incorporate cycling into their lives. We also run health and social bike rides which can help mental and physical health and be a fabulously fun way to spend a sunday.
