Here's an amazing mix that Mick Boogie did recently to commemorate the Beastie Boys induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. It took on a different kind of significance a week later when MCA died. Not sure if this is up your street but it is probably the best Beastie Boys 'album' you will ever hear made by a long time friend and collaborator. I would highly recommend it.
Back on the genre-bending tip, I have recently been digesting this mix by Ryan Hemsworth, a young hip-hop producer who works with Main Attrakionz and Green Ova. It splices up pop/rock/R&B until it sounds like smoked-out southern hip-hop.
Also, definitely worth a mention is another recent mix by Rustie. It's pretty amazing. It straddles the boundaries of hip-hop and bass music with a few surprises. The tracklist is incredible. If you like this kind of thing it's unmissable.
