Can we squeeze another ride in later this summer?
Say in six or seven weeks time perhaps…?

I'd be up for a brighton ride towards mid july.

I've put the idea out for a geared ride one weekend of July, try to cover 100 miles en route to Brighton.
Got a suspicion you haven't got any gears though Dom? You should get some, you'd be bloody quick!

Would be tempted to tag along fixed and see how I do, or would that be frowned upon?

That sounds good fun man, especially if this weather keeps up. However, as you suspected, I don't have gears so I'll have to give it a miss!

Yup! Mrs OSR phoned up in a panic at 7pm coz she'd been to Tesco en route home and bought too much stuff to fit in her bag. To the rescue on the TT bike for extra dick points :-)
Great people. Great ride. Great day out.
Will admit to feeling a little broken afterwards mainly due to my inappropriate choice of 79GI. Still stoked to make it up the Ditchling though, even if I did get passed near the top when I slowed to little more than walking pace.
Next time I'll be a bit more sensible.....maybe.
Didn't even allow the shitfacecuntmotherfuckermotorist who beeped his horn and turned me left with the side of his car on the way home from Clapham Junstion to ruin my day. My brusied hand/wrist vs. his missing wing mirror = shitfacecuntmotherfuckermotorists 0 fixieskidders 1.
It's just as well I left my d-lock at home on for that ride. Might not have made it up the Ditchling with the extra weight. Might have had difficulty removing it from some arsehole.
