Read it again - my experience is that these are manufactured in exactly the same way. Does your frame make any unusual noises?

If your "purpose built track frame" has been anywhere near the gentlemen with the big legs, then surely it's nearing the end of its' life?!

Oh, and I've been up and down kerbstones on ALL of the track frames I've owned. I just wouldn't trust a frame that had been glued together.

One with bad reputation and poor craftsmanship and the other with a good reputation and great skill.

This frame was taken out of a box two years ago and has never seen a man with big legs yet. I've been riding and loving it and found only one downside - everyone drooling all over it. And nothing similar as creaking or squeaking, it's stiff and strong.
