  • Nice bike, but why post a pic 4x higher than most peoples screen res? The link was a lot better way to do it.

I dont know what screen res is mate

  • if anyone is after a goat i'm selling my mint condition large 2012 for £220
dropping down to a medium goat is the only reason i'm selling

  • There seems to be a bit of a mini-trend of people using FGFS bikes as their daily ride/fixie skidda/urban assault weapon, and why not - they're ideally suited to it. This is mine. It's nowt special, just an 1/8th-Inch Scrambler with standard forks(so no barspinz) but it has Profile splinedrive chainring, Velosolo bolt-on cog and Gusset open Prison bars. Bombproof for what I use it for.

  • ^^^^ Absolutely agree with you vikingfixed, and that's a nice looking bike.

    Problem daylightbombings?

  • Road frame, radial front.

    Great for freestyle..............

Yeah it is great actually, had no problems whatsoever with it yet. The frame is steal and takes an absolute beating. No bar spins but i've got a Volume Thrasher frame on the way.

Next time, lose the pictures, it makes you look unintelligent.

  • But radial is the weakest possible thing ever...

However it looks liek a fun just normal ride..

The front wheel's temporary whilst I look around for something more suitable. Other than that the frame's been great. I'll totally accept criticism, but pictures and sarcastic comments....

  • for a bit of a heavy commuter with curb hopping and such its perfect once you get change up the front wheel

Disagree, tried commuting on my FGFS a few times and hated it!
Tyres too wide, sluggish, compared to my other bikes.
    Your whip is nice though!

I've also got a fast-fixed, a geared tourer, a polo bike and a geared sprinter, so i use the Scrambler as a bomb-around-town kinda bike. Wouldn't wanna commute far on it, for sure, but for what I do use it for I really enjoy it.

  • whats the max tire size you can fit on that frame?

  • Plus that saddle angle .....

Next time, spell steel correctly. Such spelling errors make you look unintelligent.

Don't get upset. No one's getting worked up apart from you.

  • haha thanks for re-iterating my point ;)

  • My n+1 will be a 26er because I'm short and I want a smaller bike that I can throw around.
I have an NS traffic with 9cm off the length for polo, so I'd like something similar for my hack.
I need it light and room for 2.3 tyres but because it's not just for freestyling, and I'm old(er), ima need some brakes and probably freewheel.
Those goats are amazing but not sure it fits what I need?

    Any other suggestions?

  • Ah Cindercones, awesome. Aren't they a bit long though?

  • something like this Wicksie?

Is that yours? Is it for sale? Are the dropouts stock?

    So many questions!
