Apparently 45,000 Chelsea supporters are travelling out here. There were 1.4 million applications for the 17,500 tickets in the Munich end. The stadium is sold put. The old Munich stadium, seating 65,000 and showing the game on screens is sold out. The 25,000 tickets for viewing in the park are sold out. They reckon that there are 200,000 visitors to Munich for the match (in addition to locals). Local prices for match tickets are now €5,000. In London tickets were only £1,500. Although UEFA keep banging on about tickets being good for free public transport, advice is to buy UBahn tickets and not flash your match ticket, even though there are no scousers in town.
