  • John H, I think you're being a bit disingenuous when you say he's won everything in Germany. He's won the League twice with Dortmund, and the DFB cup, he's had his teams play in europe for a couple of seasons and they've not done much whilst there...

    I'd think he'd believe he's got a lot to achieve at Dortmund, keeping hold of the promising young players being first priority. Making a proper bid for the champions league, and winning the german league again. Looking to solidify Dortmund as the pre-eminent german team at this point... He's only 44, and he's got plenty of time to move to another league/team.

    Just because your club has a vacancy doesn't mean that the manager you desire is going to take over... And I'd assume Dortmund would do everything in their power to hold onto him..
