People with silly and / or stupid names

Used to kill many a quiet moment, hour, day looking through the customer database at Hellfrauds. There was a Mrs Hailstones. Lots of Wangs which always brought a giggle.

More recently though and this is possibly just a Scottish thing, but I get really annoyed by people who give their kids stupidly Scottish names.

There's those that just go for an actual name like Flaithbheartach or Oisian, that's bad enough but then there's those that name there kids after places. There's the obvious ones like Skye, Lewis, Harris etc but I heard of a kid called Millport recently. For those that don't know, Millport is a pretty tacky holiday destination island, it has one road but about 20 million caravans and at least 30 ice cream shops. Also sure I know someone that;s named their child Mull. Mull. Could you get a duller name?

I have a friend from boat building college called Rhum. True story.
