  • I don't think "too tired" was a consideration. It's mainly numbers and the impact on the quality of the basic training session. If you're too tired after an induction then you should probably find another way to improve your fitness before returning to the track as the induction is physically very easy.
    If you have 50 inductees and they all want to stay on for the basic session, it means nobody else will be able to sign on for the basic session.
    As many inductees are just there for the experience, and don't return often, if at all, it's unfair to those who regularly participate in the basic session to lump them with a load of newbs.
    The strain on hire bikes is also significant.
