eaten 'em yet?
Missed this, yes butter and garlic on toast, but it was only a taste between four of us.
I nicked my boy's bike to go out today. I punctured. I didn't have my kit with me. I walked.
But every cloud etc;Is any one else having any luck? It seems to be less interesting than last year. Wrong type of rain? Faster slugs?

Visiting a girl in sweden we decided to go get some mushrooms, she left the guidebook at her other home and just picked random stuff for an adventure. Trying to identify these now via the internets if any of them are edible.
Any help would be great

Very hard from photos to make an identification - The last photo *could *be winter chanterelles but without having them in front of me with a guide I wouldn't like to say as they are not a species I have any experience with.

Ate them and didn't die...yet. They were actually pretty damn tasty.
In the end we decided they were these for sure.

Dunno, but after reading this I've gone right of the idea of a fungus forage...

Yes, excellent, son't bother with stalk...excellent cooked most ways, but especially good breadcrumbed.
There are two types, the Parasol and the Shaggy Parasol, the shaggy can cause stomach upsets in some people, it is "shaggier", slightly smaller and also easy to identify as it bruises pinky red when damaged....

I suppose they could be sulphur tuft, but I wouldn't like to say for sure.
Another early start to the season for me - two of several morels I found. Believe it or not I was working on my mushroom beds in my allotment when I found them.
And yesterday, I found a 1.5 kilo chicken of the woods, which I am going to eat a little of, and use the rest to start a patch in the garden too.
