• Thanks mate. So there are a few solutions then..
The thing is: i have a rim + 8 speed campagnolo rear hub for cassettes. Having some problems lacing these (no money for flat spokes and LBS not keen on building these kind of rims) i thought i just buy a rear 8 speed wheel for cheaps so that i can start riding the bike. Because there are more 9/10 speed wheel available online my idea was to use one of those with the spacer set.

I think it will be just easier to wait until an 8 speed campy wheel pops up.
An 8 speed screw on will work the same as an 8 speed cassette right?

Last Q: planning on buying a new 8 speed cassette (Campagnolo makes those but not the hubs) for my vintage 8 speed hub. But will those fit/have the same kind of spines? Or are those new 8 speed cassettes made for the newer (9/10 speed) hubs (using a spacer kit)?
