Probably you could try drinking more milk, all of a sudden?
Seriously, it is a fast and very light bike. The seat stays are very short so clearances are very tight, maximum for 25c. I just managed to fit the rear mudguard by filing the sides and passing it through the gap that is available on top of the brake calliper. It is a DIY remedy that is effective to achieve a dry ass. There is more clearance in the fork. I have not had any discomfort on riding this bike. The short wheelbase together with sloping geometry is a good compromise of comfort and manoeuvrability.
I am increasingly getting into cyclocross and my steel bike is the one I am riding now.
I hope you are satisfied with your purchase.
Best,
